My name is Tammy Blasco I am 42 years old, I am a Dentist, and I live in Venezuela.
In January of 2017, I felt a lump in my left breast and made me seek medical help and when performing the mammography, the doctors decided on an injury that they diagnosed as a complex cyst and they told me that I do not worry. For the month of July this cyst had increased in size and I decided this time to seek help with an oncologist who did a cytology and histopathological diagnosis that showed cancer cells. Then he had a biopsy (PAFF) and it turned out to be a triple negative INFECTIVE DICTION CARCINOMA.
While other complementary studies were done, the tumor grew so large that it became inoperable because it occupied the four quadrants of the breast.
The humanitarian crisis in Venezuela did not allow access to the drugs to do the chemotherapy since in the country there was no such treatment; this is the reason why I had to spend all my savings to travel to Bogotá Colombia to buy chemotherapy with an AC scheme. Thankfully I was able to receive neoadjuvant chemotherapy cycles. This month of February I was given medical authorization to perform the total mastectomy of the left breast and prophylactic mastectomy on the right side and later radiotherapy. However, I no longer have the economic resources to finish the treatment and be healthy.
I have not worked for 8 months, I sold my office to cover the medical expenses of my treatment, so I request your valuable help to cover the medical expenses since my country is going through a very serious economic crisis, and I do not have the economic means. I will be forever grateful for your valuable collaboration so I can continue with my life.

Mi nombre es Tammy Blasco tengo 42 años de edad, soy Odontologo, y vivo en Venezuela.
En enero del 2017 sentí un bulto en mi seno izquierdo busque ayuda médica y al realizar la mamografia dectaron una lesión que diagnosticaron como un quiste complejo y me dijeron que no me preocupa. Para el mes de julio este quiste había aumentado su tamaño y busque ayuda con un oncologo que le hizo una citologia y el diagnóstico histopalogico mostró células cancerígenas. Luego se le hizo una biopsia (PAFF) y resultó ser un CARCINOMA DUCTAL INFILTRARTE triple negativo.
Mientras se hacían otros estudios complementarios el tumor creció tanto que se hizo inoperable ya que ocupaba los cuatro cuadrantes de la mama.
La crisis humanitaria en Venezuela no permitía acccesar a los medicamentos para hacer la quimioterapia ya que en el país no había dicho tratamiento. Razón por la cual tuve que gastar todos mis ahorros para viajar a Bogotá Colombia para comprar la quimioterapia con un esquema AC. Agraciadamente pude recibir los ciclos de quimioterapia neoadyuvante. Este mes de febrero ya me dieron autorización médica para realizar la mastectomia total de la mama izquierda y mastectomia profiláctica del lado derecho. Y posterior radioterapia. Pero ya no cuento con los recursos económicos para finalizar el tratamiento, y estar sana.
Hace 8 meses que no trabajo, vendi mi consultorio para poder cubrir los gastos médicos de mi tratamiento, por eso solicito su valiosa ayuda para poder cubrir los gastos médicos ya que mi país esta atravesando por una crisis económica muy grave y no cuento con los recursos económicos. Estaré agradecida por siempre de su valiosa colaboración para yo poder seguir con mi vida .
