Dr Talib Maqbool Lone,
A long-time close friend and colleague, a loving husband, an exceedingly kind father of two and a man known for his kind and helping nature, unfortunately, suffered a disabling Stroke on 06/4/21. His right side of the body is paralyzed and is unable to speak, leaving him and his family in a state of shock and disbelief. This has left a profound impact on him and his family as it has changed their lives suddenly.
Dr Talib has always been a self-reliant man who was always ready to help others. Today he needs our help and support to go through the long and painful rehabilitation process and meet daily living expenses.
He moved to the UK recently in 2018 and worked as a trainee doctor under North West Deanery in critical care. His current visa status does not make him eligible for Govt. support funds or aid. It will be challenging and extremely difficult for him and his family to bear the expenses after the expiry of a limited period of financial support provided by his employer. He is the lone breadwinner for his family.
Dr Talib and his family are going through the most challenging times in their lives, and it is time for all of us to come forward and extend our full help and support for them, so they can start rebuilding their lives with honour and dignity.
As close friends and colleagues, we are making this humble appeal to our colleagues, friends and community members to fully support this noble cause in whatever way they can and enable Dr Talib and his family to pursue their lives with peace of mind.
