Help Tai get a service dog

My name is Tai, I am a 23-year-old trans man. I am trying to get a psychiatric assistance dog for my mental health issues. Goal is in AUD! Need goal by end of december!!

 

I have experienced a lifetime of abuse in many forms. Because of that, I have been diagnosed with complex PTSD, Borderline personality disorder (BPD), Cluster B personality traits, Avoidant personality disorder, Major depressive syndrome, and Severe anxiety. I also have been diagnosed with ADHD and intellectual and learning impairment, along with the suspicion of autism.

My anxiety and health have become so bad that when I get overwhelmed my vision is the first thing to go. Sometimes it gets extremely blurry and sometimes it goes fully black. At those moments I get very sick Like I'm either going to faint or vomit if I don't find somewhere to sit immediately. When I'm alone I have auditory hallucinations and irrational fear that I'm not alone and something is going to get me. I used to carry a knife around my house for a few years because of it.

All of these diagnoses severely impact my everyday life, To the point where even going outside of the house is a major struggle for me, let alone holding down a job, or effectively study at university. That’s why I need help funding this Assistance (service) dog. If I had an assistance dog, it would be able to notify me before I get to a point of passing out or being sick, and escort me to a safe place if I were to go “blind” or have a panic attack in public. The dog would also be able to help me in emotional crisis situations in public and at home. The dog would be able to give me support and freedom like I've never experienced before.
I will be getting a puppy and having it professionally trained at home.

 

I already have $2360 saved up for the assistance dog. This is enough to cover all of the physical care items, vet bills (such as needles, desexing, microchipping), and schooling (puppy school and professional training) for the dog. The puppy itself will cost another $3000 (AUD) and that's where I need urgent help because I will need this money by the end of December since that is where I am due on the waiting list for one. I've added an extra $1000 for traveling costs etc.
