Taha has recently received some challenging news: after nearly seven years of being cancer-free, his worst fear has come true - his cancer has returned. Taha is once again facing testicular cancer and needs our help to navigate the challenges ahead.

<div><strong>Background Story:</strong>

<div>Seven years ago, at the young age of 22, Taha was diagnosed with testicular cancer and underwent a unilateral orchiectomy (right). Before this, he faced the challenge of arthritis at just 21 years old. Following his cancer surgery, Taha experienced numerous health issues, including mood swings, depression, fatigue, and loss of muscle mass. Despite these health challenges, Taha has always strived to stay strong and positive.

<div>Two months ago, Taha received his scans and blood tumor markers, and everything seemed fine. He was building his startup, focusing on his career, and enjoying life. He even completed his MNU L5 diploma in advanced nutrition science last year and was excited about the future. But on April 30th, Taha experienced sudden pain in his groin and left testis and discovered a cyst. Further tests revealed that the cyst in his remaining testis was suggestive of a tumor.

<div><strong>Current Challenges:</strong>

<div>After many scans and tests, Taha's doctors have confirmed that the cancer is back, and he needs to undergo another unilateral orchiectomy (left) to remove the tumor. This surgery will have significant emotional, physical, psychosomatic, sexual, and psychological impacts.

<div>The loss of his testes means Taha won’t be able to father a child if he wanted, and the loss of natural testosterone production will impact his energy levels, mood, and overall well-being. He will require lifelong hormone replacement therapy, regular monitoring, and psychological support to cope with these changes and a whole lifestyle adjustment to prevent cancer from recurring again. Additionally, the financial burden of ongoing medical care, therapy, and daily living expenses is overwhelming.

<div>To focus on his recovery, Taha needs to take a break from work for a couple of months, which adds to his financial stress. The funds raised will help cover:

<div>Taha is a wonderful human but also proud and personally refuses to rely on others, especially when it comes to money, and has been working and making a living since the age of 16. But now that he’ll be unable to work due to surgery, treatments, and because of the side effects, he’s agreed to ask for help, even though it is very difficult for him to do so. He is very well aware that every individual and every family has their own struggles, both personal and financial, but would be eternally grateful for any compassion and generosity that anyone chooses to show.
