Hi! Our sweet angel Shyla is going through some difficult medical issues at the moment. She has 3 mammary tumors and a lump on her head we still aren’t sure what it is. We were able to pay for her initial diagnostic testing so she’s had 2 radiographs done and had 3 punch biopsy’s for her tumors. All of this has put us out close to $1,300. After her procedure she developed a fever and an infection at her biopsy site and had to go back to the vet to get emergency fluid and antibiotics that have put us out an additional $500. We are waiting on the results from the testing to know whether she’ll have to have surgery to remove the tumors or not which will likely be another few thousand dollars at least.

We’re just looking for any support possible to make sure we can continue to get the best care possible for our baby girl. She is the light of our lives and the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She loves her friends and loves to be the center of attention. It’s so hard to see her struggling like this but we’re caring for her as best we can with what we’ve got. We’re hopeful she’ll be okay as she is showing signs of improvement so far, but as we move forward we’ll need to recoup some funds in order to continue being able to care for her in this way.

Shyla is so beloved by everyone around her and we hope you’ll share her story far and wide. We love this dog with everything in us and want to do anything we can to make sure she’s doing okay.
