Help Suzie Get A Home!

For the love of a woman that has loved so much, lets all help Suzy go home.  For many years Suzy, a longtime resident of Santa Rosa, California, lived in Rincon Valley making a modest living working as a caregiver.  It was trough this career and gratitude from a family that a small home was offered if she would become its caretaker.  For many years she restored much of the home and planted beautiful roses which she is well known for.  Walley & Gorgey, her two faithful dachshunds also lived with Suzy and it was easy to see they were one big happy family.  Each piece of furniture told stories and held fond memories like a walk through time.  Her doors were always open to friends and she loved sharing the holiday festivities with all.  All of this abruptly changed on October 9th as wild fires swept down from the hills Suzy had to flee for her life with her dear daschshunds.  Soon to follow her house was engulfed by the flameslosing all those things she carefully restored or cherrished from her family and now homeless.

I'm Martha Rasmussen and had the pleasure of growing up with Suzy Finzell, to me she is more than a friend and I think of her as my sister.  It broke many hearts when she became homeless.  Suzy has some very difficult decisions ahead of her and it is clear she can't return to this special place she has so long loved.  She will need to relocate and build her life over, this time in her later years.  This will require money for basic needs such as bedding, furniture, deposits so that she can again get a roof over her head and a warm dry place she can call home!  For the love and human compassion of this very special woman, lets pitch in and help Suzy find home again!
