This holiday season, we ask you to help us raise $15,000 to ensure the sustainability of our mental health support services as we continue to provide peer support both in-person and over the phone.

Rainbow Heights Club is the only agency in New York State dedicated to providing support for low-income LGBTQ people living with serious mental illness, making it even more critical for our work to continue uninterrupted.
Coordinating safe on-site services while still maintaining the massive structure of telephone support we’ve built over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic takes more staff and more resources.
Can you please help to ensure we have the resources to meet the challenges we will face in 2022?
In March 2020, Rainbow Heights Club paused in-person services due to COVID-19 and pivoted quickly to a telephone model for one-on-one and group support. (To learn more about our COVID-19 services, check out our 2020 Annual Report, as well as this News 12 feature.)
Since July 2021, Rainbow Heights Club has welcomed our members back for on-site support services, while continuing to provide telephone support to those who need it.
Our September 2021 member survey found that with support from Rainbow Heights Club, our members have:
- Stayed in contact with their psychiatrist and/or therapist during COVID-19 (96%)
- Taken their psychiatric medications as prescribed (96%)
- Remained free of psychiatric hospitalization in the past year (90%)
- Received a COVID-19 vaccine (98%)
- Felt more hope (100%)
We're excited to share that in early 2022 we will be moving into a new, purpose built facility, ensuring that Rainbow Heights Club members will have safe space to find friendship and support for the next 20 years.
We need additional resources to support continuity of services through our move, and to increase our capacity to grow our programming to meet the increasing demand for mental health support services in our community.
