<div>Despite everyone's immense generosity, I need to share with you the worst news I've ever had. After a significant fight, my mum has sadly passed away.  
</div>

<div> The details of her funeral have been shared on Facebook and anyone who knew my mum is welcome. 
</div>

</div>
<div>Come Christmas Eve, my mum was too poorly to be safely brought home, so she remained in hospice where we had our Christmas. She passed away peacefully early on the 2nd of January.
</div>

<div>To the exceptional staff at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice who took care of my mum and us as a family - you guys are fantastic 
</div>

<div>ℹ To anyone who has already donated, we are so grateful. As the circumstances didn't allow for any works to begin, the full amount raised is still available. 
</div>

<div>We expect just over half to cover the cost of my mum's funeral. 
</div>
<div>Without having to worry too much about money, we've been given the opportunity to make sure the ceremony and wake reflect my mum's personality, and by this we are truly humbled.

<div>We also intend to make a significant donation to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice to thank them for all their hard work. Sadly, they desperately need funding to continue doing what they do.

<div>Finally, we hope to use whatever is left to put something away for my little sister's future. We feel this is what my mum would have wanted.
</div>
