<div>My name is Glenna and I'm a friend of Susan Henderson's. <strong>Our friend Susan needs our support. </strong>Susan moved to the Asheville, NC area a couple of years ago and has been working so hard to rebuild her life after major medical issues and other challenges in Denver. She picked a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains to remodel and create a new life. She worked hard to set up an Airbnb so that she could have income after she was forced to give up real estate sales due to her stroke and lasting medical challenges.

<div><strong>And in the blink of an eye, her dream has been shattered. </strong>She and others have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. You may not think that being so far inland would be an issue, but it has wreaked havoc on the area—no power, no water, downed trees, massive flooding. <strong>Susan's beautiful home has been severely damaged by fallen trees, and this will impact the income she had from Airbnb.</strong>

<div><strong>Here's what we're fundraising for. </strong>She doesn't have hurricane insurance (it doesn't exist for this region) and so she needs support in removing trees, repairing the damage to her home and making up for lost income. We know that many people are impacted by this once-in-a-lifetime storm. And it will take a whole community to support. <strong>Let's wrap our collective arms around our friend Susan and help her through yet another major challenge in her life. Every bit helps.</strong>
