Zack started getting sick about 8 months ago. On May 11, 2017, after many doctors appointments Zack was diagnosed with Stage 2b colon cancer. On May 18th Zack had surgery to remove a tumor, which also resulted in 18 inches of his colon having to be removed. Once Zack was released he spent one miserable night at home and had to be taken to the ER the next morning only to find out infection had set in. On May 26 he had to have a second surgery to remove the infection and sadly this surgery resulted in Zack having a colostomy and 17 days in the hospital, some of which were in ICU.

Treatment for the cancer will begin in a few weeks and surgery to reverse the colostomy will bein a few months. Zach is unable to work and no idea when he will be able to return. His loving wife hasn't left his side and because of her devotion she has got several weeks behind in her own business. They have 3 beautiful children that they have missed many hours with. The stress of not working and medical expenses is the last thing they need to worry about.
