I am still aiming to be competing at the World Agility Open Championships in May 2018. However a hurdle has come up for me with a diagnosis of MS over the christmas period. Thankfully i am having a 5 day infusion treatment on the 15th January which i will have just once a year for two years. The hope is that it will kill all my T and B cells and then when the new ones regenerate in the bone marrow they will have no memory of MS.
I have been building up both mine and the dogs fitness in the lead up to this treatment as i am fully aware that i will be off work for a few weeks after the treatment and the cost of this all impacts my budget to fly Cali to WAO.
I am determined that this autoimmune disease will not get the better of us and that i will continue to love running my dogs in Agility and 3 sheep trials for years to come. I just need to stay focused and positive for the next three weeks which will be a rocky road.
(The cost above purely covers all of Cali's travel exspenses, vaccinations and paperwork etc) Unfortuantely i am now having to use more of my savings for cali to cover time off of work for the treatment and the recovery time after.

We are very proud to be the 1st South Australians to make the team and to be representing Australia.
My dogs bring such joy to my life and to be able to share this experience is very special.
Any support is truly appreciated as every little bit adds up to the cost of Cali's flights to represent Australia and the vacination process. The event is in May 2018, so we have just over 3 months to try to raise a proportion of the cost to help support us.
