<div>On August 10th, 2025, our dear friend Ueberson Duarte was in a terrible rodeo accident.
</div>

<div>The fall knocked him unconscious for several minutes, and he was rushed to the hospital where he spent days in the ICU. Doctors discovered he had a brain bleed, a punctured lung that had detached from the chest wall in two places, and trauma to his trachea. He underwent multiple CT scans, X-rays, and treatments before being released to continue recovery at home.

<div>Just one day after finally getting Ueberson home, his wife Brittney experienced her own medical emergency. She passed out in the shower, fell, and had to be taken to the ER.
</div>

</div>
<div>Ueberson will need ongoing follow-up appointments, CT scans, and X-rays in the coming months as he heals. All of this, and more, has placed a heavy financial burden on them at a time when they should be focused on recovery and preparing to welcome their baby boy in February
</div>

</div>

<div>No dia 10 de agosto de 2025, nosso querido amigo Ueberson Duarte sofreu um terrível acidente num rodeio.
</div>

</div>
<div>A queda deixou-o inconsciente por vários minutos, e ele foi levado às pressas para o hospital, onde passou dias na UTI. Os médicos descobriram que ele teve uma hemorragia cerebral, um pulmão perfurado que se desprendeu da parede torácica em dois lugares e um trauma na traqueia. Foi submetido a vários exames de TAC, radiografias e tratamentos antes de receber alta para continuar a recuperação em casa.

<div>Apenas um dia depois de Ueberson ter finalmente regressado a casa, a sua mulher Brittney teve a sua própria emergência médica. Ela desmaiou no duche, caiu e teve de ser levada para as urgências.

<div>Ueberson precisará de consultas de acompanhamento, tomografias computadorizadas e raios X nos próximos meses, enquanto se recupera. Tudo isto, e muito mais, representou um pesado encargo financeiro para o casal, numa altura em que deviam estar concentrados na recuperação e na preparação para dar as boas-vindas ao seu filho em fevereiro
