Help Support the Taco Billy Family After Hurricane Helene

Hello friends, family, and community,

As many of you know, our beloved Western Carolina has been hit hard by Hurricane Helene. Entire neighborhoods are still without power, and the timeline for restoring water stretches weeks into an uncertain future. Businesses and homes that once thrived are now facing immense hardship, and our hearts go out to everyone touched by this storm.

At Taco Billy, we count ourselves lucky. Both of our locations were spared significant damage, and, most importantly, every one of our team members is safe. But as the waters have receded, we’ve been left with the harsh reality that we don’t know when we’ll be able to reopen. In the meantime, many of our staff – the heart and soul of Taco Billy – are unable to access federal assistance. These are people who have been with me since day one, who have poured their energy and passion into making Taco Billy a place we all love. They are family.

So many of you have reached out to ask how you can help. If you're able and feel moved to do so, I’m humbly asking for financial support that I can distribute directly to our employees while they are out of work. This isn’t easy to ask, especially with so many in our community facing even greater loss. If you can, please prioritize those who need it more than us. But if you’re in a position to help, any contribution will go directly to them.

We’re staring down a long winter, with the loss of leaf season and tourism casting a heavy shadow over what should be our busiest time. But we’ve always been a community built on love and resilience, and I believe we can get through this together. Every donation, no matter the size, will be shared equally among our staff, helping them to get through the difficult days ahead.
