Help Support our 4-H “Free Little Pantry”

Hello, and welcome to “Out of Our Shells 4H” fundraiser!

We are beyond excited to announce that our 4H group will be adding a “Free Little Pantry” to the front of the First Presbyterian Outreach Building.

-You might be thinking, what is a “Free Little Pantry?”

Our pantry is for everyone! Our pantry is for those who need an item or for those who want to donate a food item. Our pantry is for those not easily able to meet everyday food and personal needs. Our pantry is for a hungry kid walking home from school or a home cook who forgot to buy a box of pasta. Our pantry is for everyone and we are excited to bring this to Blairstown!!

-How does our pantry differ from other food pantries?

• Our pantry is small, limiting its quantity and variety but stocked with love from our club and community.

• Our pantry is local and easily accessible.

• We can help families who do not qualify for bricks-and-mortar food pantries. Most pantries have hours of operation, but our pantry is open 24/7.

-What will our pantry stock?

Our pantry is stocked organically. Those who wish to contribute may do so at anytime. We will encourage to give donations of need such as canned veggies, fruit, crackers, cereals, cat/dog food, soup etc., as well as personal care items. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated so we can keep a steady flow of food stocked at all times.

Each month we bring in donations not just for our patrons but for their pets too!

With your help we would like to stock the shelves of our “Free Little Pantry.” 100% of all donations will be used towards our “Free Little Pantry.” Thank you so much for your donation and for making a difference in our community.
