In 2008 Luke was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.  In 2009 he had surgery at Cleveland Clinic. In 2010 Luke did radiation and chemo and praise Jesus, the tumor had shrunk. Earlier this week Luke and his wife Bethany went to the local hospital due to Luke having visual disturbances and issues with his speech. They did a MRI and said the tumor had grown. On Nobember 16th Bethany and Luke went back to Cleveland Clinic to get another MRI. The results were not what everyone was hoping for. The tumor has mutated and grown significantly toward the front of his skull. He also has a 4.5 cm cyst likely filled with spinal fluid. The tumor growth and cyst are causing swelling and edema. They started him on a high dose of steriods and put him back on anti seizure meds. On the 21st they will be going back to Cleveland Clinic to meet with the neurosurgeon and come up with a plan. They said he needs treatment and surgery as soon as possible otherwise he will lose his memories and ability to speak. On top of all this they are expecting another little bundle of joy by the end of the year/first of the year. They have 4 beautiful children already at home and it is Christmas time.  Since they will be traveling to Cleveland for a while, I am asking that everyone donate as much as they can to help this family through a terrible time.
