Dear Upstate Empire Fitness Family & Friends,
As you know, the recent uncertainty regarding gym reopening dates in New York State has impacted all of us but in particular, it has impacted our dear friends the Devins’.
Those of you who know Brian and Alyssa know that they would never charge membership or ask for financial support during this time because they care more about their cherished members than they do about money, which is why we are asking you keep this CONFIDENTIAL at this time.
What you may or may not realize though is that during this time they have spent countless hours preparing the gym for the reopening, cleaning, reformatting, meeting new standards due to the pandemic, finishing projects in the gym, and more.
All while continuing to maintain it financially, all for the member.....they know how much we, the UEF family needs the gym to open and stay open for our well being, both physical and mental.
That is why a small group of us have started this page to help provide Brian and Alyssa with much needed financial support during this challenging time. As stated this is not something they are asking for, but something we feel as part of the family we wanted to organize.
Funds raised will go towards the rent, which is quite a large amount.
While we know many have hardships of their own during this difficult time, any amount is greatly appreciated, the saying many hands makes light work could apply here. If we all were able to give just a little it would add up very quickly and help ease the burden.
