<div>Stephen Crosby is my uncle. He was born and raised outside of Boston in a little place called Carver, MA - or as he would say, "Cavah". When you think of Boston you think of thick accents, Fenway Park, the Patriots, Pawkin the Cah, people who are boisterous, charismatic, and can command any room, a place full of life and stories, and of course, Clam Chowder. This is my uncle. He is a Veteran, a die hard Patriots fan, an athlete, a voice of reason, the calm in the storm, a son, a brother, but most importantly - a husband and a dad.

<div>Hi, my name is Taylor and this fundraiser is to help support my Uncle Stephen, Auntie Suzanne, and cousin Jacob as my Uncle goes through cancer treatment.
</div>

<div>Just over a year ago, my Uncle Stephen was diagnosed with Mesothelioma - a very rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects the tissues of the organs. Ever since this diagnosis, he has undergone several surgeries and rounds of chemo to fight this monstrous disease - including many long stays in the hospital. My uncle provided the primary source of income for their family, however now he is no longer able to work. My Auntie Suzanne has been working long hours to make up for this loss of income while also being the caring wife and sidekick for Stephen while he is in the hospital, as well as a loving and supportive mom to Jacob. However, financially it does not scratch the surface of the bills they need to pay.

<div>The medical bills will only continue to pile up and my hopes are that this fundraiser could help take a great deal of stress off of them so they can focus on healing. The funds will go towards their medical expenses. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
