<div>We are creating this GoFundMe to help support my mother-in-law, Laura Bojorjes, and her family during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time.

</div>
<div>On the morning of July 7, Laura’s husband, Mario Bojorjes, was on his way to work. After stopping at a gas station, he was pulled over by a state patrol officer for allegedly having window tint that was too dark. After some time, the officer issued him a citation for the window tint and told him he was free to leave. Laura was on the phone with Mario at the time, and she was told she could come pick him up.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>A short time later, however, Mario was taken into immigration custody. He is currently being held at the Linn County Jail while he waits for his immigration hearing, which they have been told is scheduled for July 30.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Mario was already in the process of obtaining lawful permanent residency. His case was already filed and is currently pending, and the family has already been paying an immigration attorney to help with that process. Since his detention, they have contacted additional attorneys to explore whether he may be able to seek release on bond while his case continues, but they have been quoted legal fees of $10,000 to $15,000, on top of the expenses they are already facing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mario is a devoted husband, a loving father of three, and a proud grandfather of two. He has worked hard to provide for his family and has been their primary source of income. With him now in custody, Laura is suddenly left trying to manage household expenses, legal costs, and the uncertainty of what comes next.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for any support you can give to help ease the financial burden on Laura and her family during this incredibly challenging time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward legal expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re not in a position to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser and keeping Mario, Laura, and their family in your thoughts and prayers means just as much to us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
