<div>my name is Ted. I have been clean from opiates since 2017. Every single day for over 8 years.
</div>
<div>Opiates took a lot from me. My health, my nose, years of my life.
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe started at $8,000 to $15,000 for medical reconstruction of my nose.
</div>
<div>But as I started telling my story, my purpose changed.
</div>
<div>What makes me feel good isn't fixing what opiates did to my face. It's knowing that if one kid in Rochester doesn't touch opiates because I told the truth about where it leads, it was worth telling.
</div>
<div>That's why this is now a mission to work with kids.
</div>
<div>Why $22,000 now: $8K medical, $6K transportation to schools, $8K training to work with kids.
</div>
<div>I got myself clean in 2017. I'm not asking you to save me. I'm asking you to help me turn 8 years clean into something that keeps kids clean.
