<div>Hi! Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my fundraiser! My name is Tara Gillespie, I am in my second year of general nursing.

<div>I have a strong passion for caring for others and making a positive difference wherever I can. I have been given the incredible opportunity to travel to Zambia to volunteer with the amazing charity i4life through my global health module, and I am truly grateful for the chance to be part of such meaningful work. i4life works closely with local communities to provide vital healthcare support, education, and resources to people who need it most, with a focus on sustainability and long-term impact.

<div>As a student nurse, this experience will allow me to learn firsthand in a very different healthcare environment while supporting individuals and families who face daily challenges accessing basic care. I approach this opportunity with humility, knowing I still have so much to learn, but with a genuine desire to help in any way I can. The impact volunteers can have through i4life goes far beyond clinical care — it’s about compassion, dignity, and human connection, and I feel incredibly privileged to be able to contribute to that and take part in this incredible opportunity.

<div>Any support I receive through this fundraising will be used thoughtfully and responsibly. A large portion of the funds raised will go directly towards i4life and the work they do. The other portion of the money will help cover the essential costs of getting me to Zambia, enabling me to volunteer on the ground. Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a real difference, and I am deeply thankful to everyone who is supporting me on this journey.
