<div>Over the last year, I’ve stepped in to care for a child in my family.
</div>
<div>We have been so thankful to have the opportunity to love him through such an emotional time, through the good and the really hard.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Legally, there’s a lot I can’t say, but I can tell you this: his safety and well-being are inching closer to being at risk, and his future is at stake.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are currently living in a state of uncertainty and it’s terrifying.
</div>
<div>He only knows our home as his home. This is where he feels and IS safe, where he is deeply loved, and where he belongs.
</div>
<div>In our home, he’s beginning to heal from trauma he endured far too young and experience a healthy childhood filled with structure, trust, and security.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In order to continue protecting him and give him the future he deserves, we’ve reached a point where legal representation is necessary.
</div>
<div>The kind of attorney who is experienced in handling complex cases like this unfortunately comes with a very high price tag.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While I’m incredibly thankful for my job, it disqualifies me from receiving legal aid. This kind of expense on top of continuing to provide for my children and keep our household running is something I simply cannot cover on my own, all at once.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m doing everything I can: working full-time, parenting, and completing all the necessary steps toward licensing. But I can’t risk the stability of our home or the well-being of my kids by trying to take on even more.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So, I’m asking with humility and hope… If you feel led to support our sweet boy…to keep our family together. Whether through donating, sharing this page, or simply covering us in prayer, it would mean more than you know.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I never imagined being in this position, but I do know that I’m standing on what’s right, and I will keep fighting to make sure he has a safe, stable, and loving home with a foundation strong enough to continue overcoming anything life throws his way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For transparency, for those who may not know:
</div>
<div>We are a single-income household. I’m a single mom raising three kids. I do not rely on government assistance and work hard for all we have.
</div>
<div>My kids are well cared for and have more than they need, but this unexpected and urgent legal burden is beyond what I can manage alone at this time and I refuse to let money be the reason this child loses safety and security.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will mean more than you know and not just to myself, but my two children, and other close family that will be shut out if we don’t put up this fight.
