One/Third Project is a social mobility organisation founded in January 2021, following the impact Covid-19 on students and their education.
Too many students are not gaining access to support for their mental wellbeing while studying at school or university. Our mission is to provide students with disrupted educations the opportunity to grow and develop, participating in our #BeyondCurriculum Mentoring programme alongside social action projects & targeted workshops.

All of our services and opportunities will be completely FREE for students, forever. One/Third Project is dedicated to giving students access to education and essential support, regardless of their backgrounds.
Shortly after advertising for volunteers to join our brand new team, we were overwhelmed by the amount of support for the cause. All of our volunteers will receive mandatory training to ensure we are providing a safe & welcoming environment.
We are aiming to raise £1,000 to get started so we can reach as many students as possible. Here is a breakdown of what the funds will be used for:
• Website running costs.
• Registering as a CIC in the UK.
• Additional, bespoke Volunteer training costs.
• Marketing to reach as many young people as possible.
• Branded email addresses for Mentors to ensure safeguarding.
• Creating essential packages for disadvantaged students - period care kits, wellbeing kits, resources to be used during workshops & action projects.
