<div>We are reaching out to you today to ask for your help to support a cause that is near and dear to our hearts and many of yours as well.

<div>Our dear friend and family member, Steve Misthos, has been battling a very aggressive form of prostate cancer over the last 6 months, which has spread to his liver and bones. This form of cancer is particularly painful, and along with the treatment itself, it has left him unable to work. Thankfully, some of the initial financial strain was alleviated by short-term disability; however, his short-term disability has now expired, which has put an incredible amount of stress on him and his family.

<div>As many of you already know, for over 45 years, Steve has lived a life of service through counseling adolescents, adults, and their loved ones in the battle of addiction and moving into a life of recovery. He is one of the kindest, most caring and generous individuals that we know who would literally give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it, expecting nothing in return.
</div>

<div>During his years working as a counselor and doing volunteer service work, he has tirelessly supported others for most of his adult life, touching many lives, and now he needs our help to relieve the financial strain this has caused so that he can concentrate on fighting this disease.

<div>We know there are many of you out there that love Steve and would love to help him.  We also know that this will not reach everyone who will want to donate, so please share this with others that may want to help.
