Steve in his battle with colon cancer

October, 2019, just one month after losing his father to cancer, Steve Dew was diagnosed with Colon Cancer.  After completing 3 weeks of radiation and chemo treatments, Steve was rushed to the hospital with a ruptured appendix, which then was forced to put his chemo and radiation treatment on hold until all secondary issues are taken care of.

Steve is a devoted, loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. For people who know Steve, know that he is a source of light to anyone who crosses his path. His upbeat attitude towards life causes a ripple effect of happiness to anyone whom he is near. His passion for life and love from his family and friends is helping him stay positive throughout this journey.  Without a doubt, The world is a better place because Steve is in it. Before his diagnosis, he  thoroughly enjoyed mowing his grass, singing karaoke at the Youngstown maennerchor, dancing, gardening, playing  with his grandchildren, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

We hope that you will join My dad (Steve dew), and the rest of his family and friends in our fight to tackle this cancer so Steve can continue to touch peoples lives and be the influence he has always been to many.  Steve is always the first person to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
