Sophia is almost 4 years old, and anyone who knows her knows she is truly something special. She is full of life, kind, outgoing, and has a way of lighting up every room she enters. When Sophia was just 2 years old, she was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. Over the next year and a half, she fought with incredible courage through endless rounds of chemotherapy, major and minor surgeries, two tandem bone marrow transplants, radiation, and immunotherapy. Through it all, Sophia showed strength far beyond her years.

 In March of this year, Sophia rang the bell to celebrate the end of treatment and what everyone hoped was a battle won. Sadly, on June 17, during her first post-treatment MIBG scan, her family received the devastating news that the disease has returned, with a tumor now found on her femur. Sophia’s amazing family remains positive, strong, and determined to help her beat this once again. But this next chapter will bring more surgeries, more chemotherapy, more testing, and more time away from the normal rhythms of life, including work and daily responsibilities. Along with the emotional toll comes the growing financial burden of supporting Sophia through continued treatment.
