Help support Sophia Panton battle leukemia

On Wednesday March 13th, 2019, Kyle and Vanessa’s life was turned upside down. They received devastating news that their sweet, 4 year old daughter, Sophia has Leukemia.  Sophia was taken by ambulance to Halifax immediately after finding out in Charlottetown at her doctors office. Kyle & Vanessa have not left Sophia’s side at the IWK health centre since then.  This hospital is almost 5 hours from their house. Sophia had a number of tests done, including blood transfusions, bone marrow surgery, and spinal taps. She was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The doctors started her on a 29 day chemo treatment on March 16.
If all goes well, Sophia will be able to return home and she will be able to receive treatments from Queen Elizabeth Hospital with follow up appointments at the IWK every three months for the next two to four years.  Vanessa will be off work for the foreseeable future to take care of Sophia.  With all the ongoing medical and travel expenses, please help donate to this very generous and loving family to help ease the financial burden.
