Shelbi Keffer

What happened was a horrible accident. Shelbi was at her friends house and Finley (her dog) was outside in the front yard. Finley pushed open her friends front door and startled her friends 3 dogs. As most dogs would, they went into fight mode to protect their home. The 3 dogs started attacking Finley, and shelbi went into protection mode not thinking of the consciences and laid on top of Finley to protect him while her and her friend tried to fight the dogs off of Fin. Once they finally got the dogs separated Shelbi was taken to the hospital. She had an amazing plastic surgeon come in and stitch up her face which took about 5 hours. She's now in a lot of pain and has a lot of swelling, we aren't sure how much work she is going to have to miss, it's going to be a long road to recovery. As for Finley, he is a little beaten up but he is okay thanks to his amazing mama.
