<div>Dear friends and dance community,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is PJ Turner. I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to support one of my closest friends, coach, mentor, and brother, <strong>Robert Royston</strong>. Recently, Robert sustained a serious knee injury that will require months of rehabilitation and treatment. This has already and will continue to cause significant financial challenges.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Very unfortunately, and completely due to unforeseen circumstances, <strong>Robert lost his health insurance earlier this year</strong>. Despite his efforts to obtain new insurance, he was not successful prior to his injury. This means he needs to cover all medical expenses out of pocket!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To add on top of the extreme cost of expenses associated with medical treatment, he will also experience the loss of thousands of dollars in income as he recovers. While Robert can continue (and is excited to) teach, there will be limitations. He will not be able to compete, perform, or do any of his ProAms in WCS, Country, or Ballroom during his recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Robert has made us all feel loved as a competitor, spectator, performer, student, instructor, judge, etc. Being on the mic and emceeing every event, giving the public the energy to give back to the performers. Hearing your name over the mic from the "voice of the Open." He has dedicated his life to dancing, mentoring, teaching, and sharing the love of dance with all of us. He has jumped in to support every single time someone has needed help in any way he can. And now he needs our help! <strong>Let’s join together to help him and support him to make his recovery financially feasible and way less stressful!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Goal:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We aim to raise $60K or whatever we can to help cover Robert’s medical expenses and support him while he heals. We know it’s 3 months recovery and surgery will be Tuesday, October 15th. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in his journey to recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate: Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated.
</div>
<div>Share: Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and dance community. Spreading the word is vital to reaching our goal.
</div>
<div>Support: Your kind words and encouragement mean everything to Robert during this challenging time.
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering supporting Robert. Let’s come together to show him the love and appreciation he truly deserves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
