Owen Sutton is a bright, energetic rambunctious, smart, carefree 4 year old, who had recently has some news about his heart. The little trooper was born with a condition called a complete heart block, in which his upper and lower heart doesn’t communicate with each other. This rare condition comes with many complications but thankfully the doctors at both Carbonear General and the Janeway reacted quick and found the issue without causing any damage to the sweet ball of energy. 

Owen, his mom and dad (heather and Anthony) quickly agreed to taking the trek to Halifax Children’s hospital where just this morning Owen underwent surgery to have a pacemaker implanted in his chest to give his heart that connectivity that it’s been missing.  

As we all know, with an illness, comes
expense, and to make matters worse right now Heather and Anthony are out of province, so the expense is higher than usual. 

If anyone can donate, whether it be big or small, or even prayers sent along, it will be gratefully appreciated. There’s going to be a new road for them, but one that we will get through together. But for now, hopefully the financial burden will be on the back burner so they can get their little man home and pick up where they left off ♥️
