Rhonda Hannagan Memorial Fund

Donation protected

On December 25th at 4:20 pm our mom Rhonda lost her fight against cancer. She was such a beautiful, amazing, strong and courageous woman and she fought so hard. Unfortunately in the end the cancer was just too bad and it shut her body down. We are so incredibly heartbroken and shocked by the sudden downward turn things took. We didn't expect for our mom to lose to her cancer let alone so quickly and unexpectedly. We are now dealing with the after effects of losing our mom and have to come up with the funds for a memorial service. We have been so incredibly grateful for all the help, thoughts and prayers we have received this far. If you can donate at all to help us cover the cost so we can give our mom the proper service she deserves we would be so thankful. Happy Holidays and God Bless ♥️

Hello, My name is Tammara. My siblings Nathan, Chantel and I recently found out our mom Rhonda is battling cancer. She was newly diagnosed with Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer. If you don't know what that is, it is an aggressive form of lung cancer that has spread extensively. Unfortunately, it is also incurable. SCLC is a chronic form of cancer that though spots can be shrunk, our mom will never be fully in remission or cured. She will live with this for the rest of her life. She recently had a PET scan and MRI done that showed three small spots on her brain. They also discovered small spots in both lungs, lymph nodes, chest, lower abdomen, tummy, and a tiny spot on her back bone. She recently completed her first round of chemotherapy, and they are optimistic that chemo with work well in shrinking the spots that are currently present. Today she went and got a port put in to make it easier to administer the chemo and any other medications because it is so hard to put in an IV. Next week on Monday, September 26th, they will do a CT scan to see if the first round has shrunk any of her current spots. She will also start round two of chemo. Our mom is currently living with my brother Nathan and his wife Shannon and is on 24/7 oxygen. We all do our best to help our mom out with getting her to her appointments which are over an hour away multiple days in a row, but with the influx of gas prices, food prices, etc., money has been tight. Our mom can't work and is on disability, so with all that has been going on with her health, it has been tough on us all. I am creating this fundraiser to help raise money for gas, food, lodging and any other necessities our Mom may need during this journey. We are eternally grateful for all those who have continued to pray and keep her and us in your thoughts and prayers. If you can donate, it would really help out. Any little amount helps. We will continue to post updates on this fundraiser throughout her journey. Thank you again!
