Our hearts are completely broken as we share the sudden and tragic loss of our dad, Fran—a loving husband, father, and the most incredible papa. On April 7, 2026, our lives changed forever. Our dad was doing something he loved, working on his buggy and getting ready for a weekend with our family, when his life was taken from us unexpectedly in a senseless act of violence. There was no warning, no chance to say goodbye—just a loss that has left us devastated.

Our dad was truly one of a kind. He was hardworking, funny, and the most selfless person we knew. He would do anything for anyone without hesitation. But above everything else, he loved his family with his whole heart. We were his world, and he made sure we knew it every single day.

Some of our most cherished memories are the simple ones—days spent out on the boat, collecting seashells together, listening to music, our yearly family vacations, and holidays filled with laughter. He loved riding buggies through the woods and bringing everyone together for fun and adventure. Watching him with his grandkids was something so special—he adored them beyond words. Sleepovers, hugs, laughter… those were the moments he lived for.

Our dad was the heart of our family. He was the one who brought us all together, the one who made everything feel whole. Now, there is an emptiness in our lives that we don’t know how to fill.

He leaves behind our mom, Michelle, who is bravely fighting cancer, along with all of us—his children—and his six grandchildren who loved their papa so deeply. We are trying to navigate this unimaginable loss while also supporting our mom through her ongoing battle.
