<div>On Thursday evening, 14-year-old Nina was struck by a driver in a pickup truck while out running on Bear Creek Parkway near Bear Creek Park in Keller. As a dedicated student athlete, Nina was pursuing her passion for running and training to join the Keller High School cross-country team when this devastating accident occurred.

<div>Now, facing a brain injury and multiple fractures (including both femurs, her knee, and multiple parts of her pelvis), her road to recovery will be long (doctors estimate at least a year). Nina and her family need the community’s support more than ever.

<div>We're rallying together to provide financial assistance for Nina's medical bills, rehabilitation, and ongoing care. Additionally, we aim to support her family during this challenging time, alleviating the financial burden they face in caring for Nina and ensuring she receives the best possible treatment. Nina's parents will need to take an unknown amount of time off of work to be there with her every step of the way and take care of their other three boys. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping Nina heal and hopefully enable her to return to running one day.
