Hello! I'm Gavin Sanders :) I'm a student filmmaker in my last year of high school. I've written, directed, shot, edited, and acted in many of our school's award-winning productions. I love my team and what we've created in the time we've been together.

'Hexed' is a short 20-page script I wrote in late 2023, about two friends who find themselves drifting apart. While I've tried and failed to make this script into a reality, it's always been in the back of my mind. As I get closer to the end of my senior year, many of the emotions and themes in the script have found their way into reality. The idea of moving on from a huge part of your life, whether it be friends, family, or simply high school, sounds terrifying to me. So as I get closer to graduating, I relate more and more to this story. I'm finally at a point in my life where I feel I'm ready to share it with the world.

While I've created or aided in the creation of many films, we often work with little to no budget. I've considered this project to be 'too big for me' due to its scale, which made me think I should turn to fundraising! Having money to put towards actors, location, props, and additional help would be the deciding factor in if I'm able to tell this story. 'Hexed' is a story about the necessary evil of change and the future, while also being a tale about a witch and her best friend.
