Help Support my Pregnant Wife Fight Ovarian Cancer

The month of August 2019 was a busy and exciting month. My wife and I were planning our daughter’s first birthday, and we also received the most wonderful birthday gift, which was the news of our 2nd pregnancy! Our daughter was going to be a big sister. We set up the first ultrasound and everything was normal and baby was healthy. Upon our 2nd ultrasound my wife had developed a ovarian cyst, Dr said it was pretty common during pregnancy, but just to keep an eye on it. Two weeks later my wife kept waking up with back pain and her entire body was hurting. 4 nights pass and she decides to make an early ultrasound appointment. At the ultrasound we found out that the cyst had doubled in size and we needed further testing. So we went home to wait for the next appointment with a specialist. That night my wife woke up screaming and we had to take her to the emergency room. The cyst had ruptured. The doctors looked at it and within a day we got the devastating news, we were 17 weeks pregnant and my wife has a mixed germ cell cancer in her left ovary. She had surgery to remove the tumor and left ovary, and now has to start chemotherapy. We hope that the baby will be strong like it’s momma, and be a strong and healthy survivor throughout all of this. We wanted to start this so that anyone who wanted to help alleviate some of the medical costs we about to endure could do so. Prayers are also welcome!
