<div>This has been updated to reflect the changes in mom’s healthcare plan with the recent setbacks from illnesses that were brought on by chemo. She has no immune system now so every day is a challenge to keep herself safe and away from germs. She recently had to have a blood transfusion and also ended up being diagnosed with Covid which has kept her out of work for almost a week. Prayers for her going forward as she had just started this long journey. If you know our mom, she’s pretty stubborn so we have all the faith that this will be a page in her Survivors book! <div>She was recently diagnosed, and as you can imagine, life has changed in an instant. She has to complete a few more test, followed by a mastectomy and then will begin radiation and chemotherapy. She will be out of work for at least 6 weeks to heal and recover. While she’s doing everything she can to stay strong and focus on healing, the reality is that being unable to work is putting a huge financial strain on her.
