<div>UPDATE: thanks everyone for the donations, they mean more than you know.  My mom has been moved into an intensive rehab center for at least the next 10 days.  She has gained a little movement in her legs and arms.  She can squeeze her hands and slightly lift her arms but still no movement with her fingers.  More updates to come.

<div>Recently, <strong>my mom was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome</strong>, a rare and serious condition that has left her with little to no movement in her arms and legs. The prognosis is still unknown, and the road ahead will be long and challenging.

<div>She now faces mounting medical expenses along with her fixed monthly bills, all while being unable to provide for herself. As her child, it’s incredibly difficult to ask for help—but I know the strength and kindness of the community around us.
