Hello, my name is Asharah, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family to ask for your support during a very difficult time. My grandma, Mary Childs, is currently facing a decline in health due to an enlarged heart and other serious medical conditions. Unfortunately, because of her age, the medical options available to her are limited.

My grandma’s greatest wish is to spend her remaining time in Monterey, CA, surrounded by her church family and closest friends. She is very adamant and consistent about what she desires, and we want nothing more than to honor that wish. However, we are facing financial challenges that are standing in our way. The funds needed for her room, board, and transportation to Monterey are beyond what we can manage on our own at this time.

If you know Mary Childs, you know she is a firm believer in God. She knows and often reminds me, "God is in control." Though it’s difficult for us to ask for help, we are doing so because we know how much this means to her. So, here I am, at her request, asking for any support you can offer to help make this final wish a reality for her. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward ensuring she can be in Monterey with her loved ones.

Thank you for your prayers, your kindness, and any assistance you can provide. We truly appreciate all of the love and support as we navigate this difficult journey.

With gratitude,
