After being poorly for a little while my 7 year old brother kaiden was taken into hospital 2 days before Christmas only to be told he has a tumour on his liver.
No parent would want to be anywhere else but with their boy during this bad time. Both my parents have jobs that will only pay them SSP.
This would not cover their bills or their travel to get to and from Queens medical centre let alone anything else. This page is to help my family be together during this time rather than my parents both being forced to work and leave their boy just to keep a roof over their head.
With chemotherapy starting in the coming days, this is just the start of a long journey for my family.
