Calgary community fridge is a mutual aid project providing access to free food 24/7. This special place relies on food and monetary donations to keep the fridge full. Check out their Instagram! @calgarycommunityfridge
On Mondays, it is my pleasure to volunteer to make sure the fridge is clean and sanitized. I’ve become aware that at this particular time, the fridge is noticeably under stocked.
Access to nutritious food is so important to members in our community who need it. The fridge can only help others if it is well stocked at the time someone visits it.
It is my hope to make a small contribution to the fridge for every Monday in December. I will be offering curb-side pickups of food donations and accepting monetary donations. These contributions will be used to stock the fridge every Monday.
Any excess funds will be donated to the Calgary community fridge. These go towards groceries to help keep the fridge stocked throughout the week.
Please join me in ensuring the start of each week in December has a fully stocked fridge!
