On Saturday 3rd of February, we received the tragic news that Mark Stevens had fallen, from cutting down a tree, and passed away.
For those of you who knew Mark, you know that he was one of the kindest and loving men you had ever met; he would always go out of his way to see how you were and encourage you, in whatever way he could. But most of all, you knew how much he loved his wife and family.
Kat has been injuring some painful injuries and has been unable to work, so Mark was working 3 jobs to help cover their expenses. We desperately want to help Mark's wife, financially at this vulnerable time in her life. We know that this is what Mark would have wanted; for his wife to be taken care of, in the best possible way.
At this point, the family does not have the finances to cover the costs for the funeral, so 100 % of the monies raised here, will go towards covering the funeral expenses. Also, Kat is also needing to move out of the aparentment that her and Mark shared, and be supported by her family, so any extra monies raised, will go entirely towards her future living expenses.
After all Mark has given out, we feel this is a good way to give back to him; to say thank you to him, and a final goodbye, to this man who has blessed so many people.
