<div>We thought we got the cancer the first time around last August and that his symptoms were adverse reactions to radiation. Which is partly true, but the cancer has persisted. It has become aggressive and metastasized, and its location makes it inoperable (behind the jaw surrounding the carotid artery, jugular vein, and vagus nerve). He will hopefully be starting chemo and immunotherapy at the end of April pending insurance approval.
