Help Support Lindsey's Medical Journey

As we all know, 2020 has been HARD. Unfortunately for my sister Lindsey, it's been harder than most. In August she was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. Through that, doctors discovered she actually has something called Factor II Clotting Disorder, which causes an increase in the likelihood of your blood forming dangerous blood clots. This disorder is thankfully manageable with medication. Unfortunately for Lindsey though, this was only the beginning. 

After a couple months and a couple minor bumps to the head, Lindsey was required by her doctor to go to the ER to be evaluated via MRI. When the MRI came back, she received the news that the doctors had unintentionally located a cerebellar mass. A brain tumor. This was a huge shock to our family and friends. How do you even rationalize a young, active, otherwise healthy person developing a brain tumor? Lindsey was scheduled to have a craniotomy and resection 12/3 to remove the mass and have it biopsied to find out if it is cancerous or not.

Hospital protocol requires a COVID test pre-op, which unfortunately came out positive. This not only means her surgery is postponed, but she is required to take two weeks off of work in addition to the six weeks as part of her surgery recovery. 

As you can imagine, the series of events is a huge financial blow. I am asking from the bottom of my heart for financial support for my sister at this time. Your donations will be used to help assist her with medical bills that are starting to come in. Even if you have a dollar to give, it is appreciated more than you know. 

If you know anything about my sister, you know she avoids attention at all costs (I'm sure she'll smack me for setting up this page). She is also one to give the shirt off her back for the people she loves. At this point in her journey, I want to reciprocate the level of kindness that she projects to the world and remind her of how much she is loved.
