Update: Jude had his surgery yesterday 5-23-25. He now has 6 weeks of recovery before he can start building his strength back. Kaitie is now 2 days past her due date waiting for baby girl to make her arrival!!

Yesterday, our dear friend Kaitie’s world was turned upside down when her husband, Jude, was in a serious motorcycle accident. Thankfully, he is going to be okay—but he sustained a torn ACL and will require surgery, followed by a long recovery that will keep him out of work for several months.

As if that weren’t already overwhelming enough, Kaitie is just days away from welcoming their second child. With a toddler, Jakob already at home and a newborn on the way, their family is facing an incredibly difficult time physically, emotionally, and financially.

We’re reaching out on their behalf because they need help—and fast. With Jude unable to work, they’re suddenly without a primary source of income. Things like bills, diapers, groceries, and everyday essentials will become harder to manage as they adjust to life with a healing parent and a brand new baby.

Kaitie and Jude are always the first to offer love, support, and strength to others. Now, they need our support. Any amount you can give—no matter how small—will help them through this challenging season.
