<div>On Tuesday, August 26th, Jason suffered a severe stroke that required emergency surgery to remove 3 clots. While the initial procedure was successful, he faced further complications and spent 11 days in Riverside’s Neurocritical Care Unit. We are so grateful to share that Jason is now out of critical care, stable, and beginning the long road of recovery.

<div>His current challenges include paralysis on the left side of his body, general lethargy, and the need for a small feeding tube in the nose. The focus right now is giving his body time to regain strength so he can begin physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Even in the middle of all this, Jason’s humor and personality continue to shine through, giving us hope and encouragement every day.

<div>Many of Jason’s loved ones have been able to visit, offering prayers, comfort, and support—something that has meant so much to him and our family. His children - Jacie and Zack - are helping manage updates and created a Google Sheets document to share visiting details. This will continue to be updated, including when Jason transfers from Riverside to Dublin Rehab Hospital in the coming days.
