<div>It's that time of year, and I'll be participating in the Hercules community Halloween Trunk or Treat again! If you are unfamiliar with the concept: folks park their cars in the community center parking lot with trunks open. We decorate the trunk, wear our costumes, and kids trick or treat from car to car. My theme will be Super Mario. I am dressing as Mario this year :-)

<div>The local fire department participates as well. It's a wonderful community builder!

<div>Kids are so excited to get out to enjoy trick or treating in a safe way, supported by the community. As a teacher in Hercules, I will know hundreds of the kids coming to trick or treat at the event.

<div>Participating in this event brought me so much joy last year! As those who know me know, it's been a long and challenging few years. Taking part of this event is an incredible way for me to contribute to the community and soak up some positive, fun energy.

<div>Now, why do I need a Go Fund Me?

</div>

<div>I will need to purchase treats for 1200 kids! You read that right.

</div>

<div>Last year we had over 1000 kids come through! Candy is crazy expensive now, and I'll be purchasing some decorations for my car as well.

</div>

<div>If you can donate, no matter how small, it will help support me in sharing Halloween fun and joy with a multitude of kids in my community.
