My name is Rayana Dawarzai. I am raising money for my friend, Halima in Gambia. Halima is a young girl who lost her father, leaving her mother to care for her and her two younger siblings on her own. Life has become a daily struggle, and with no stable source of income, the family is doing their best just to get by.
To make matters worse, their home is in a fragile state—cracked walls, leaking roofs, and no proper protection from the elements. With the rainy season fast approaching, the risk of flooding grows each day. Water has already started seeping into their house during storms, and without urgent repairs, their home could be severely damaged or even destroyed.
We’re raising $1000 to help Halima’s family make essential repairs that will keep them safe and dry during the rainy season.
Every donation—no matter how small—brings them one step closer to a secure and livable home.
Please consider supporting Halima and her family. Together, we can bring them hope, safety, and a better future.
Thank you for your kindness.
