Hi, I am Nigel and I will be turning 50 just after Easter 2026 and for 45 of those 50 years I have been a staunch supporter of Exeter City Football Club – just like my father and grandfather before me. As a third generation City supporter, I would like to try and repay my debt to football which has delivered, on an emotional level, all the ecstasy and despair following Exeter City over the years.
Together with my son Toby, a fourth generation Exeter City supporter and like me a season ticket holder, we will be undertaking a Fundraising cycle ride from St. James Park following the Orient game, cycling the 340 miles to Blackpool over 5 days, in time for the City game at Blackpool on Good Friday (April 03, 2026).
Your support for this fundraiser is needed and all donations received will be split evenly between Exeter City FC Supporters Trust and the Adam Stansfield Foundation; in memory of the untimely demise of one of the finest footballers Exeter City (as well as Yeovil Town and Hereford United) has ever seen.
Providing 50% of the monies to Exeter City FC Supporters Trust, is in support of a financially struggling independent football club which is directly owned by its fans.
Providing 50% of the monies to the Adam Stansfield Foundation, is for “The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of children and young people up to the age of 18 residing in Devon, Herefordshire and Somerset by the provision of grants and facilities for playing football.”
Please support us in this mammoth challenge cycling from St. James Park to Blackpool Tower.
All your donations, whether large or small, are greatly appreciated and could be that little extra incentive to drag us over the finishing line at Blackpool.
