On 6/18/25, David Abrego was admitted into the hospital for Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease and a massive Ventricular Aneurysm. Doctors rushed to assemble a team that would work proficiently to save his life, surrounded by accomplished staff. A coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) was performed under the care of Dr. Brent New and Gerald Sioco and many others. Family and friends waited anxiously for news on his condition, a sigh of relief as the surgery was a success. Doctors were astonished that David was still alive but had the utmost faith in his care. There is much to be thankful for in both miracle and the skillful hands of modern medicine.
David is a wonderful son, caring brother, a loyal friend, understanding uncle, and a kind person. Generally, one cool dude. He thought of everyone during his stay in the hospital. There wasn’t a cherished memory he didn’t replay, aiding him in strength and the anticipation of life ahead. A beautiful life tethered to so many people. I have seriously never met a person David couldn’t pull into conversation, have a laugh with, or fill a room with anything but meaning. Thank you to everyone who has shared in the chapters of his life and here’s to many more on the horizon.
If you can donate or know anyone who would, please, pass this around and share. David would rest easier and recover without worry over bills and providing for himself and his mother for the next six months to a year. Your donation means everything!
