<div>On Thanksgiving Day 2024, an urgent trip to the Emergency Department marked the beginning of an unexpected journey for Dallas. Following two hospital admissions and numerous diagnostic procedures, Dallas received a diagnosis of Aplastic Anemia. This rare and serious condition affects the bone marrow and necessitates a bone marrow transplant for treatment. To receive this life-saving procedure, Dallas must stay at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle, while his wife, Allison, and their children remain in Pasco, a 3.5-hour drive away.
