Hi, I'm Christine and I'm 40yrs old and been disabled since I was a teen. I have brittle type 1 diabetes which caused me ti have many other health complications. I'm close to being blind, can't ever get a license and never had one, my stomach is paralyzed and severe nerve damage to my legs causes me to have mobility issues alot.

My service dog of almost 12yrs recently passed away and I am looking into getting another one. I contacted an organization that helps train and place service dogs and the woman explained the process to me and I filled out an application and she told me the waiting list was 5yrs, AFTER the up to 6mos to process the application. Sadly I am going to be much worse in 5yrs... none of my medical issues are curable and only get worse over time. So the woman told me I could just buy a puppy and put in through service dog training... so I went on the hunt to see what dogs may be available in my area. I found an 11 week old lab/Alaskan husky (pulling/working dogs) puppy that only 25mins away! The seller has offered to lower their price but on a fixed income I can't afford to come up with $400 all at once. Then the cost of gas to get him and back, a 1st vet appt, neuter and also training in the areas I don't know how to train in.

The money I am trying to raise is for the cost of the dog... i found a trainer with a free program! I am aware that animals cost money and need vet care, I've got that covered!

Please help me get the money to buy this pup so I can start the journey to having a new service dog so I can still be somewhat independent!
